Project Details

The Harvest Sky project will offer 21.9MW of clean energy and connect to the electrical grid via ATCO at the Hanna 763S substation. It will consist of Longi LR5-72HBD-525-545M 540, 545, 550 Wp, bifacial solar panels on single-axis trackers and SMA MVPS 3060 kW inverters.

The Harvest Sky solar farm will reduce carbon emissions by 22,555 tonnes every year, 586,352 tonnes over the 30-year lifetime of the project and provide enough energy to meet the electrical needs of 4,302 Albertan households.

PACE believes the proposed development is in keeping with the character of the area and makes a vital contribution to addressing the climate emergency. It will also help to mitigate soaring energy costs and increase local biodiversity while supporting Alberta’s rural economies.

PACE Canada anticipates a fall 2024 construction start date and a fall 2025 completion date.
